A disorganized home is not a personal failing. It usually means the systems in place do not match how you actually live. I help clients build organization and design solutions around their real routines, not an idealized version of them. Whether you are managing three kids and a full calendar or preparing to downsize, the goal is the same: a home that supports you instead of adding to your stress.
I am a mother of three boys, and I have lived in several countries before settling in Halifax. Both experiences shaped how I work. Raising kids means I understand what a hard morning looks like before you have even had coffee, and moving across cultures taught me that a well-designed home can look different depending on what a family actually needs from it. When I walk into a client's home on a difficult day, I understand it because I have lived it.
DAZ comes from the names of my three sons: Dominic, Andrew, and Zachary. The name carries their presence into every project I take on.

What happens during the initial consultation, and how should I prepare?
During the consultation, we will walk through your space and talk about what is working, what is not and how you would like your home to feel. We will discuss your needs, style, budget and ideas. You do not need to prepare anything, but you are welcome to share inspiration photos or a wish list.
How much will it cost, and can you work within my budget?
Every project is different, but I will always discuss your budget before we begin. I can suggest options at different price points and help you decide where it makes sense to save or invest. Nothing will be purchased without your approval.
How will you understand my style?
I will listen carefully to what you like, what you do not like and how you use your home. We will look at inspiration, colours, existing furniture and the feeling you want to create. My goal is not to bring my style into your home, it is to help bring your style to life.
